Renewing Notaries

Renewing notaries can renew their commissions online up to 90 days before the expiration of their notary public commission. Current notaries whose commission has been expired more than 30 days must attend approved training and take an online examination.

In Colorado, Once you pay your application fee online, your application should be processed within 5 to 7 business days from the day your original signed, notarized application form and clear photocopy of an acceptable form of identification has been received by the Secretary of State’s office.

What is the course cancellation/refund policy?

Effective Dec. 3, 2009: A refund will be issued under the following circumstances:
Student must submit a request, in writing, within 2 days of registering for the course.
Once the Proof of Completion certificate has been downloaded, refunds will no longer be issued.
